Sing of Mary

This piece was commissioned by my friend in the APCK as a Christmas gift for his wife back in 2000 or 2001.

The Catholic Sanctuary (article)

This article was published some time ago in The Messenger, the journal of the Traditional Anglican Communion. (This was pre-Anglicanorum Coetibus, back when the TAC and Rome were still in discussions.) Being a short essay on Sacred Art & Architecture, it seems relevant to this blog.

Tu Es Sacerdos in Aeternum

This piece was commissioned by a friend for his son-in-law as an ordination gift. My friend's family are members of the Anglican Province of Christ the King. The APCK crest is depicted in the "stained glass" at the top-left.

Past Grand Knight certificate

Another project commissioned by Council 9021.

Spero in Deo

This is a tattoo design I did for someone in law enforcement. (I just did the drawing -- not the tattoo.)

White Vine (unfinished project)

This border design is based on one in the always-handy Zanerian Manual. I modified the design slightly to accommdate the Knights of Columbus logo, and made both left and right sides a mirror image for the purpose of symmetry.

Knight of the Year certificate

A common apology you will see on this blog regards the image quality. Much of the work you see here was done years ago, in some cases more than a decade ago, and the originals were only photopied or photographed. (Many of these pieces were commissioned work, so I no longer have access to the originals.)

A good friend of mine is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Council 9021 commissioned several projects over the years. Here is one such project, a Knight of the Year certificate.

The acanthus leaf border was copied from the wonderfully-inspiring and helpful Zanerian Manual. The SR (Scriptorium Romanum) monogram -- which you will see on other examples posted on this blog -- was the "imprint" I used back when I was active with projects & commissions.
